More flights to the Azores

Seasonal air service between Bermuda and the Azores will be bolstered next month, according to the latest flight schedule.

The August schedule, recently published on the LF Wade International Airport website, shows four flights between Bermuda and Ponta Delgada compared with two scheduled for this month.

The schedule is otherwise largely the same as this month, with airlines offering daily service to New York, Boston, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Charlotte and London.

JetBlue will continue daily flights to Boston, New York JFK and New York LaGuardia, while American Airlines will offer daily service to JFK, Philadelphia and Charlotte.

United Airlines will offer daily service between Bermuda and Newark, while British Airways will offer daily flights to Heathrow.

Delta Air Lines service to both Atlanta and JFK will also continue, with three weekly flights to the former destination and four to the latter.

Air Canada will maintain five weekly flights between Bermuda and Toronto during August, while WestJet will offer two daily flights to the Canadian city.
