Entries are open for the annual KPMG Round the Grounds junior running races, which are scheduled for the Botanical Gardens on March 12 at 1pm.

The event is now in its nineteenth year, organised by Mid Atlantic Athletic Club. These are the final races of the season, with four and five-year-olds running 400 metres, while youngsters over the age of 13 will compete over a 2.1-mile distance.

Parents can sign up their children at www.racedayworld.com or obtain registration forms from their schools, Sportseller in the Washington Mall or by downloading an application form from kpmg.bm.

Race numbers can be collected from the Masterworks Courtyard on March 11 between noon and 2pm. The deadline for paper entries is 4.45pm next Wednesday. Late entries are available on the Saturday at the time of number pick-up, with no late entries on the day of the races.

Parking for the races is available at the Tucker property on South Road.
