Police appeal for witnesses to Collector’s Hill bike crash
Two motorcycles collided on South Road, Smiths near Collector’s Hill on Thursday afternoon.
At about 5.50pm, police attended the crash near the car park at Collector’s Hill Apothecary.
Police reported that the rider of a motorcycle travelling east was turning into the car park and was struck from behind by another motorcycle, causing both vehicles to fall to the ground.
Apparently, the male driver of the second motorcycle spoke to the female rider of the first bike before riding off.
The female, a 28-year-old Devonshire woman, was not injured. Her pillion, a 36-year-old male, sustained minor injuries and attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The other bike was black with a blue licence plate.
Police are calling on any witnesses to contact Constable Daischon Chin on the main police telephone number 295-0011, 211 or via e-mail on dchin@bps.bm
