Traffic changes will start this week on a section of Harbour Road in Paget where the Ministry of Public Works is repairing a wall.

The project, which was subject to delays, has caused traffic disruption between Highwood Lane and Lover’s Lane.

Eastbound traffic only will be allowed from Wednesday from 7am to 10am, with westbound traffic rerouted to Middle Road along Lover’s Lane.

Westbound traffic only will be allowed between Chapel Road and Lover’s Lane from 3pm to 6pm the same day, with eastbound traffic detoured to Middle Road along Chapel Road.

Traffic controls will be directed by ministry staff.

The ministry asked for the “full co-operation of the public” and apologised for any inconvenience.

Questions on the lane closures can be sent to Tina Beer-Searle, the acting principal highways engineer, at 501-3044.
