Air Canada offers earlier arrival times in June
Air Canada has altered its summer flight schedule to the island after an online petition raised concerns about difficulties making connections.
Petitioners said that while Air Canada was set to resume flights between Bermuda and Toronto next month, the flight was scheduled to arrive in Toronto at 11.15pm in May and 11.35pm in June.
The late arrival time meant it was difficult to schedule connecting flights to other areas of Canada without staying in Toronto overnight.
While the May schedule has not been changed, the airline has modified its schedule to allow a 3.10pm on most flights from Bermuda to Toronto as of June 3, with Thursday flights arriving in Toronto at 11pm.
Air Canada has not commented on the petition or the reasons for the schedule change.
