Rockaway ferry stop shuts again for ramp repairs

A Southampton ferry stop that was closed for three weeks to repair a ramp has been shut again for the same issue.

The Rockaway ferry stop reopened in late July after a defective bow loading ramp was repaired.

But the Department of Marine and Ports announced its closure again yesterday due to the same issue.

The Department of Works and Engineering is working on repairs at the stop.

The marine and ports department apologised for any inconvenience.
