Bus detours due to trenching work

Road closures on North Shore Road on Saturday will see buses travelling on routes 10 and 11 redirected, the Department of Public Transportation said.
The closures, taking place near Terceira’s Service Station in Devonshire, are because of trench work.
Inbound routes 10 and 11 will detour through Flatts Hill, on to Middle Road in Smith’s, and through Montpelier Road, Frog Lane, west on Palmetto Road, Cedar Avenue, and on to Victoria Street before turning into the Hamilton Central Terminal. Outbound buses will reverse this route.
The detours will be in effect from 8am to about 4pm.
