A series of road restrictions have been announced for both days this weekend for the Iron Kids Triathlon on Saturday followed by the Bermuda Bicycle Association BRCC Road Race on Sunday.

The triathlon, from 10.45am to 1pm, starts on Cooper's Island Road at Clearwater Beach parking lot in St George’s.

The race proceeds west from the roundabout on Southside Road towards Tommy Fox Road, continuing along Southside Road to Lower Gates Road around the roundabout and then back down Southside Road east and back to Clearwater.

There are no parking restrictions.

While there are no closures for the BRCC race, the Ministry of Public Works advised drivers to use caution between 8am and noon on Sunday.

Police and race officials will monitor the route from the St David's roundabout at Kindley Field, west on Kindley Field and over the Causeway to Blue Hole.

It continues on North Shore Road from Hamilton Parish through Flatts to Barker's Hill in Devonshire, back in reverse around the Barker's Hill roundabout, and ending at St David's Road roundabout at Gate No 1.

A speed limit of 75 km/h is permitted for participants.
