Police are looking for the driver of a car that overturned after a collision in Warwick last night.

A spokesman said the car was on the westbound lane on Middle Road, near Camp Hill, when it collided with another car headed in the opposite direction, struck a wall and overturned at about 10.30pm.

The male driver of the overturned car fled the scene on foot and officers continued to search for him today.

Both vehicles were damaged in the collision, but the driver of the car in the eastbound lane, understood to be a 34-year-old Warwick man, was apparently unhurt.

Traffic in the area was disrupted for about 90 minutes while officers processed the scene.

Police thanked the public for the information already received.

Any additional witnesses were asked to contact Pc Stephen Allen on sallen@bps.bm or 211 as soon as possible.
