Emergency forces flight diversion to Bermuda

A flight from Madrid, Spain rerouted to Bermuda yesterday after an infant experienced a medical emergency on board.
The Bermuda Flyer reported that year-old passenger on Spanish charter airline World2Fly flight 2501 was struggling to breathe and was tended to by medical personnel on board.
The flight, en route to Cancún, Mexico, arrived in Bermuda at 5pm local time and was met by emergency services at the gate.
The infant was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with their mother and grandmother.
The Bermuda Flyer stated that the flight left Bermuda at 6.55pm and continued to Cancún.
