Part of The Glebe Road in Pembroke will be briefly closed to traffic tomorrow, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised.

A statement said the road will shut from 1.25pm to 1.50pm so a sign can be installed honouring Lawrence “Stickers” Hendrickson Sr, Zaniko Hendrickson, Carolyn Hendrickson and Lawrence “Stickers” Hendrickson Jr.

The commemoration of the iconic Gombey family members will apply to a section of the road. Addresses will remain the same.

Government representatives will manage traffic. Drivers should detour via Roberts Avenue, St Monica’s Road and Border Lane North during the closure.

The Yardie Kitchen restaurant will remain open and accessible via the alternative routes.
