Work along a section of North Shore Road is expected to continue until the end of next month, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment said.
A spokesman said a lane near Crawl Hill in Hamilton Parish will remain closed to traffic to facilitate the inspection of a line that delivers fuel from Sol to Belco.
Work in the area, which was initially expected to finish by August 10, will be done between 7.30am and 6pm. Representatives from Island Construction will continue to monitor traffic.
Questions should continue to be directed to Michael DeSilva, of Island Construction Services, on 538-0525.
