Lane closure in effect along Harrington Sound Road

Harrington Sound Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic from today, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised.
A spokeswoman said the emergency closure will be in effect from 7am to 6pm until Monday to accommodate a waterline crossing — where a structure or pipeline crosses a body of water.
Representatives from Island Construction will manage traffic in the area with lights and signs.
Motorists were urged to use caution in the area during the lane closure.
The ministry apologised for any inconvenience the work may cause.
