The Corporation of Hamilton will pave the parking lanes along a section of Reid Street this month.

A City spokeswoman said the work will take place on the northern side of the road between Burnaby Street and Queen Street on October 15 and 16. Work on the southern side will happen on October 22 and 23.

No parking will be allowed along the areas that are being resurfaced during this work, which will be done between 7am and 4pm, and traffic will be maintained on the side that is not being paved.

The spokeswoman said: “Following each phase, the newly laid asphalt will need time to cure before vehicles can park on it.

“As a result, parking will remain prohibited on the northern side of Reid Street through October 19, and on the southern side through October 26.”
