Winter schedule sees fewer ferries

The Department of Marine & Ports will switch to the winter ferry schedule starting on Monday.

The revised schedule sees the removal of trips to St George’s and fewer runs between Hamilton and Dockyard.

The final ferry leaves Hamilton for Dockyard at 5pm on weekdays instead of 9pm as per the summer rota, and at the same time on weekends and holidays.

The Green Route between Hamilton, Sandys and Southampton, and the Pink Route serving residents in Warwick and Paget, remain unchanged.

A government spokeswoman said: “This seasonal schedule adjustment is intended to ensure the continued efficient operation of ferry services across the network throughout the winter months.

“Passengers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with any changes to their regular routes and departure times.”
