Heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow and possibly into Thursday, the Bermuda Weather Service has warned.
The Ministry of National Security said “brief but intense downpours” could hit flood-prone areas, affecting residential and commercial properties and disrupting travel, especially during the Thursday morning commute.
Rainfall could range from half an inch to an inch, but an inch or more could get dumped on the island during intense downpours.
A spokesman warned that potholes could be formed or worsened, and advised drivers and pedestrians to take care.
He added: “Residents and business owners are encouraged to take appropriate precautions to protect their property and to monitor official updates.”
