Go Explore launches new Bermuda app
Bermuda-based Go Explore has announced the launch of a new iPhone and Android mobile application to locate the best attractions, restaurants, hotels and beaches around the Island.
The free Go Explore Bermuda app, which was developed and built by BarZ Adventures Inc, is a location based multimedia electronic tour guide system compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Droid Smartphone operating systems.
“This new generation of tourists expect information to be available on-demand and in the palm of their hand,” said Michael Brangman, sales and development manager for Ultra Concepts Group (UCG), of which Go Explore is part. “This is the first of its kind to enter the market and we believe it will significantly contribute to the economic well being of Bermudian businesses while enhancing Bermuda’s tourism product.”
Visitors can access local events, discounts and general information such as bus and ferry schedules. Additionally, they can explore Bermuda with video and audio tours, photos, and GPS navigation. Meanwhile easy to follow directions guide users to their destination in the quickest time.
