Nominate the best in tech
The search is on to find the Islands top techies after Government launched the 2011 Technology Innovation Awards.
Business Development Minister Patrice Minors invited nominations from the public for their favourite individuals or companies who are using technology in pioneering ways to make a difference in Bermuda.
Nominations will be accepted between now and Friday September 16.
The categories include Best Interactive Experience, Best Business Solution Using Technology, Best Use of GreenTech, Best Local E-Commerce Web Site, Best Use of Social Networking Tools, Best Local Mobile Application, Most Inspiring Technology Teacher or Mentor, Most Innovative Youth Project and Innovation of The Year (Local or International).
TechWeek was inaugurated in 2006 and celebrated its fifth anniversary in 2011, during which time it has become a highly-anticipated annual event that helps promote and showcase technology in Bermuda and its use.
The Tech Awards will be presented during TechWeek, which starts on Friday October 7 and go through to Saturday October 15.
