What is your job? Currently the Uniform Services and Transportation Manager responsible for 28 employees. I oversee the bellmen, front door and the hotel’s trolley service.
What is your favourite part? I love the challenge! Every day I meet new interesting people. I also enjoy getting to know the staff and finding new ways to motivate them. There is always something to do.
What is your least favourite part? I really don’t like confrontation so dealing with disciplinary issues is my least favourite part of the job. Sometimes I feel like it hurts me more than it hurts the employee!
What is your most interesting experience at work? I have met a few celebrities which is always exciting.
What would you be doing otherwise? I love music and I spend the majority of my free time working around the Island as a part-time DJ. If I did not work in the hospitality industry I would probably be pursing a career as a full-time DJ.
