Played over the week at four of the Islands courses, the tournament is in its 59th year and will see players compete for more than $40,000 in cash and prizes.
The mens professional pot stands at $25,000 for the week and will be split evenly over the top five positions in the junior division, with pay-outs for the top three in the senior mens division.
Similarly the womens purse, which stands at $3,500, will be spilt between the top three finishers.
Todays first round will be a shotgun start, with Mid Ocean, Port Royal, Belmont Hills and Riddells Bay all playing host.
Wednesday will be a rest day, although it will also serve as a rain day.
The final round will take place on Friday.
The Blackpool Club are the defending net champions while Carnegie Abbey Golf Club were last years gross division champions.
