Booster Shot
Tortoise and Hare. We all know the story about the tortoise and the hare. The hare starts fast but ends up having no staying power and burns out before the finish as all of his energy was exhausted in the early stages of the race. The tortoise, on the other hand, started out slowly but used consistency, calmness, thoughtfulness and maintained a steady pace. It is truly the theory of “one step at a time”. Our recovery to better times in Bermuda requires all of us to be like the tortoise. With a firm plan and our goals defined we have to take a slow and steady pace and build a sustainable future. When we do have storm clouds like the tortoise we need to have a “shell” that protects us so we can continue on our new journey. Let’s start the new race and work together to a stronger tomorrow.
