Gas prices rise 7.6 cents per litre

Gasoline prices have climbed to a maximum $2.18 per litre, a rise of 7.6 cents per litre, according to the monthly announcement from the Ministry of Finance.

Meanwhile the price of diesel has risen 6.6 cents to $1.92 per litre, and the price of kerosene has gone up 8.2 cents to $1.65 per litre.

By comparison, in August 2010, the maximum price of gas was $1.81, diesel was $1.63 and kerosene $1.36.

And in August 2004, gas was $1.41 per litre, diesel was $1.18 and kerosene 95 cents.
