A total five prisoners in Westgate jail have passed their General Education Diplomas.

And yesterday Premier and National Security Minister Michael Dunkley presented the five men with their certificates.

Mr Dunkley said: “I am always pleased to have the opportunity to share in this kind of achievement and it speaks volumes about the commitment of the team at Corrections who refused to give up on their mission of empowering inmates to lead productive lives after incarceration.”

The five who graduated were Rashuan Codrington, Kofi Dill, Shannon Forth, Darrion Simmons and Shannon Tucker.
