Telford named MD at Tucker’s Point

Paul Telford: Appointed managing director at Rosewood Tucker's Point

Bermudian Paul Telford has been appointed managing director at the luxury Rosewood Tucker’s Point resort.

Mr Telford moves up from his present post as resort manager, a job he had held for two years, with a total of seven years at the St George’s Parish hotel.

He said: “I am beyond proud and humbled to be given the opportunity to serve as managing director of Rosewood Tucker’s Point.

“The past seven years at this exceptional resort has been a tremendous experience and I look forward to taking on my new role.”

Mr Telford will replace Duncan Graham, who has decided to leave the job to take a year off to explore Italy.

A company spokeswoman said: “Mr Graham has been a tremendous asset to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts over the past 11 years with the company, serving as managing director at three Rosewood properties.”

Mr Telford, from Somerset, previously worked in a series of senior management roles overseas, including a stint with the Four Seasons group in Washington DC and Punta Mita in Mexico.

He followed his father into the industry and is a current board member of the Bermuda Tourism Authority.

Rosewood President Radha Arora said: “Paul has done an outstanding job during his seven-year tenure at Rosewood Tucker’s Point. We are extremely proud of his success and strongly believe that his passion for his native Bermuda will inspire our associates and delight our guests.”
