Masters enjoy clean sweep of wins

The Bermuda Masters completed a clean sweep of wins in their three matches in Hawaii against the Honolulu Cricket Club.

On Friday, the Masters won by five wickets after restricting Honolulu to 110 for six in their 25 overs. Herbie Bascome claimed two wickets for two runs from five overs, Sammy Robinson two for 22 from five and Kyle Lightbourne one for 19 from five.

In reply, the Masters reached 115 for five in 22 overs with Robinson the top scorer with 25, while captain Ricky Hill scored 20 and Lightbourne 17 not out.

The Masters made it three victories out of three on Sunday, winning by one wicket with just two balls remaining.

The Masters won the toss and sent in Honolulu who posted 137 all out in 25 overs as Hill was the top bowler with three for 16 from four overs.

Hasan Durham and Lightbourne supported with two for 13 and two for 30 while Brian Morris and Neil Anglin took one wicket each.

Bermuda replied with 142 for nine in 24.4 overs with Rahji Edness scoring 45 not out as he and Durham, who scored 10 not out, passed the winning target in the last over.
