Firefighters investigate explosion’
Firefighters were called to an “explosion” in Sandys this afternoon.
No one was injured.
Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the incident on Curtis Lane at 4.30pm.
Spokeswoman Russann Francis said: “On arrival, the team found there was no sign of smoke or fire in the residence, however, there was obvious damage to windows, a door and interior furniture.
“We responded to the incident with one vehicle and four firefighters.
“There were no injuries at this incident.”
The cause of the explosion is being investigated.
