Butterfield Bank shares improved 20 cents, or 0.6 per cent, to $33.20 after 300 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. That was enough to lift the index by nine points, or 0.41 per cent, to 2,226.02.In New York, Butterfield’s shares were up 17 cents, or 0.51 per cent, at $33.75.The BSX Insurance Index was up 2.47 points, or 0.15 per cent, at 1,693.62.
