Shares of Butterfield Bank gained 4 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.Butterfield gained $1 to close at $26 on the trading of 4,294 shares.The bank’s US-listed shares closed unchanged at $26.42 on the New York Stock Exchange as 165,648 shares were traded.Among the BSX’s international company stocks, HSBC Holdings fell five cents, or 1.07 per cent, to close on $4.60 on the trading of 847 shares.The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 44.97 points, or 2.44 per cent, to close on 1,891.32.The BSX Insurance Index fell 7.78 points, or 0.53 per cent, to close on 1,451.49.
