Lambe loses opener in Nicaragua
Andre Lambe lost his first-round match at the Pan American Games Qualifiers in Managua, Nicaragua, at the weekend.
The Bermuda welterweight was defeated by Luis Miranda, of Peru, on the second day of the competition on Friday.
All five judges awarded the bout to Miranda, who was defeated in the next round by Roniel Iglesias, of Cuba.
The top seven welterweights will advance to the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, this summer.
Lambe represented Bermuda at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia, last summer.
