Economic substance issue at shipping forum
Three Bermuda-based legal experts will speak on a panel discussion about economic substance rules at the Tradewinds International Shipping Forum at the Fairmont Southampton hotel today.
Appleby Bermuda partner Jerome Wilson, Brian Holdipp, a senior associate at MJM Limited, and Victor Richards, director at Conyers, Dill & Pearman, make up the panel for the session titled “Untangling Economic Substance Rules”. The moderator is Michael Frith, adviser, Registrar of Companies.
The forum brings together decision makers and influencers from key industry sectors — from ship owners to regulators, underwriters to financiers, legal experts to technology specialists — in a global event.
Appleby partner Tammy Richardson-Augustus, and counsel Tiffany Boys, will also attend the conference.
