Neighbour foils liquor store break-in
A man attempted to break into a liquor store, but ran away after a neighbour intervened.
The man, dressed in black with a black and white scarf around his mouth, tried to kick in the door at Churchill’s on Queen Street, St George’s, on Friday at about 11.30pm.
Police said a nearby resident heard a loud bang, raised the alarm and the would-be burglar fled the scene.
