Traffic was this afternoon being diverted away from a crash on Front Street.
The collision is believed to have involved a car and motorcycle near King Street, but details were limited.
A police spokesman said that traffic exiting Hamilton was being diverted up Court Street, with motorists entering the city via Spurling Hill and that the scene was cleared at about 6.30pm.
Any witnesses to the incident should call 211.
