Alexander Miller continued his dominance in the Fat Tire Massive Mountain Bike Series with a fourth successive victory at Hog Bay Park on Sunday.Having had to settle for back-to-back second-place finishes in the opening two races, Miller has been unstoppable since, winning the next four on the bounce, including the latest meet in Sandy’s.Competing in the Male Open 60 Minute category, Miller again took top honours, mastering the challenging conditions, completing 11 laps to cross the line in a comfortable winning time of 1hr 5min 27sec. Liam Flannery sealed second-place, completing ten laps of the course in 1:03:05, ahead of Alan Potts who completed the podium, also finishing ten laps in 1:03:53.In the Male Open 30 Minute category, Raphael Brunorio clinched his first victory of the series, completing seven laps in a winning time of 30:42. Slightly more than two seconds behind was Justin Horsfall in 32:44, with Scott Mello completing the top three in 33:17.Of the three competitors in the Female Open 30 Minute category, Zina Jones came out top, crossing the line in 33:07, ahead of Jennifer Lightbourne in 33:29 and Caroline Wright a little further back in 36:04.Enshe’Nico Davis proved victorious in the 13 to 16 category in a time of 31:49, a minute ahead of Gordon Smith in 32:49 with Rory Fleming, closely behind in 33:06.In the 12 and under race, Harris Fleming took the honours in a winning time of 15:47, beating Tyler Coleman who finished in 15:48 and Ollie Hayward in 16:18.The series concludes with race seven at Ferry Reach on March 1.
