Man in police chase released
A 20-year-old man arrested in Hamilton in connection with a police chase through the city is due to appear in court “in due course”, a police spokesman said.
The man, from Warwick, has not been named.
Officers descended on Par-la-Ville Road on Wednesday after a motorcycle was seen to speed down Par-la-Ville Road chased by a police bike.
The rider raced around the roundabout and past the Bermuda Athletic Association car park on Woodlands Road before returning to Par-la-Ville Road, where he abandoned the bike and ran into nearby offices.
He was arrested at about 1pm on the pedestrian walkway to Bermy Cuisine restaurant after several police cars and bikes converged on the building.
