Digicel Bermuda has awarded $3,500 and travel expense bursary for Berkeley Institute student Precious Hayward.

It said Precious, who will be attending Acadia University in Novia Scotia, Canada, exhibits outstanding qualities both personally and scholastically, and comes as a highly recommended recipient from her peers and teachers alike.

Donn Foggo, head of marketing, said: “Digicel salutes all of the 2020 graduates. We couldn’t be prouder of what your class has overcome in order to make it to this very moment.

“Precious Hayward’s story has inspired all of us here at Digicel and we are truly honoured to be able to assist such a phenomenal young lady in her pursuit of making our community a better place.

“We wish her all the best and know that with the resilience and prosperity she has displayed thus far, the future of Bermuda is shining brightly.”
