Eleven coronavirus tests still ‘pending’

A total of 11 coronavirus test results are still “pending confirmation”, the Government said last night.The news came as 573 test results came back to the Ministry of Health and all were clear. Bermuda has had 153 cases. Seven of them are active, but none are in hospital.A total of 137 people have recovered from the virus and nine people with Covid-19 have died.A government spokeswoman said: “The average age of all of our confirmed positive cases is 60 and the age range of all of our positive cases is from 18 to 101 years.“The average age of all deceased cases is 74 and the age range is 57 to 91 years.”There were 49 cases brought in from overseas.A total of 85 on-island transmissions had a known contact and 19 infections were contracted through an unknown contact.The spokeswoman added that Bermuda’s country status remained at “sporadic cases”. She said: “The seven-day average of our real-time reproduction number is below 1.”
