Covid-19: 501 test results, no new cases
More than 500 coronavirus test results came back clear yesterday, the health ministry said last night.
News of the 501 tests meant that the number of confirmed cases remained at 157.
There are four active cases, all monitored by public health officials, but none are hospitalised.
A total of 144 people have recovered and the death toll remained at nine people.
The average age of coronavirus victims is 59 and the age range is from 18 to 101.
A total of 53 cases came in from overseas and 85 were on-island transmissions with a known contact.
There are 19 cases where the transmission was on-island with an unknown contact.
None of the 19 unknown contacts are under investigation.
Bermuda’s country status remained at “sporadic cases” and the seven-day average of the real-time reproduction number is less than 1.
