Dear Sir,

I am all for people celebrating heritage or heroes, or whatever floats their boat, but it is totally disrespectful of the wider community for a group of people on White’s Island to start their loud music, hosted by an even louder DJ, at 6.30 on a Friday morning.

I am sure many people around the City of Hamilton and Paget were disturbed by this selfish behaviour.

Is there no law prohibiting it?

We seem to have rules and regulations for everything else.
