Superhero encounter: actress Kristen Darrell, left, with Spider-Man star Tom Holland in the latest trailer for the film

Bermudian actress Kristen Darrell will cross paths with Spider-Man — at least on Blu-ray.

Ms Darrell, based in London, played a New York cop in a scene for the billion-dollar blockbuster Spider-Man: Far From Home released earlier this year.

Her scene featured in the trailer for the film, but it was cut before the film hit theatres.

However, John Watts, the director, told comicbookmovie.com that scenes from the film’s trailer, including Ms Darrell’s, would be featured in a short film to be included with the Blu-ray version.

He said: “It’s all the things he has to do before he goes on the trip, which are going to Delmar’s to get a dual headphone adaptor and one of those European travel plugs, he has to go to a pawnshop to sell his Star Wars toys to get money for the trip, he has to pick up his passport and he has to take down this giant crime syndicate.

“That’s just the to-do list for someone like him, but that will be its own little short film that we’re going to put on the Blu-ray. There are some good deleted scenes.”

Ms Darrell said yesterday she was happy to hear the news.

She said: “It’s a comfort to know that, even in a small way, I can still be a part of the movie and the Marvel Universe.

“Also, it’s amazing to know that I will have something to share with all my loved ones.”
