Dockyard hosts night of gospel
The Destination Dockyard summer entertainment series will have a gospel theme on Monday.
Damon Hendrickson, of Restoration Ministries, will host the event and entertainment will include gospel reggae artist Geneman and Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Dance Ministry.
Stephanie Rodill, the marketing and events manager for the West End Development Corporation, said it would be “a great night”.
She added: “We’ve had some bad luck with the weather over the last few weeks so we are really keeping our fingers crossed that the skies will be clear on Monday.”
Other acts taking part are DJ Brotha Richie, Mime Ministry, SHEMA and singers Larritta Adderly and Olivia Hamilton.
The event was organised in partnership with PinkSand Entertainment and the Bermuda Tourism Authority.
Destination Dockyard is held every Monday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm until August 26 on the North Lawn at the Royal Naval Dockyard.
In addition to entertainment and stalls, the shops in Clocktower Mall will open to 9pm.
