Rifle & Drill Team head to States
Sixteen women from the Bermuda Rifle & Drill Team flew to the United States to get their uniforms for next year’s Bermuda Day Parade.
Royal Bermuda Regiment Sergeant Debbie Symons said she took more women on the trip than usual to “give them the opportunity and the experience of what it takes to do all the running around in order for us to look our best on Bermuda Day”.
She said: “I can honestly say although it’s all women on the drill team, they all get along. Now and then there maybe a hiccup, but as the leader I get that sorted right away as our motto is No Women Left Behind.”
