Coutts joins XL Catlin to lead Cargo

Andrew Coutts has joined XL Catlin’s insurance operations as global practice leader for Cargo. He previously worked as a cargo underwriter for Brit Global Specialty.

Robert McAdams, XL Catlin’s chief underwriting officer for Global Marine, said: “In this transitioning market, it is essential that we continue to build upon the high standards and consistent level of service our clients have come to expect from us. I am delighted to bring Andrew on board; his strong leadership and understanding of the market is exactly what we need to steer strategy for our Cargo team globally.”

Mr Coutts will be based in London.
