Paulette: PLP suspends campaign
The Progressive Labour Party has temporarily suspended its campaign efforts as Tropical Storm Paulette approaches.
A party spokeswoman said a virtual rally, scheduled to take place tonight, had been cancelled to allow the public to focus on preparing for the storm.
The spokeswoman said: “Bermuda is currently under a hurricane warning.
“The PLP is suspending all campaign operations. All constituency campaigns are to cease political groundwork and focus on checking in with constituents before and after the storm and assisting as we can.”
