Here is a selection of Valentine’s Day messages from Harrington Sound Primary’s students to people they treasure in their lives.

Dear Mommy

I love and appreciate everything you do. Your smile always lights up a room, you’re funny and also cool, thank you for being you, your heart is so big, and it’s bigger than the moon.

All I want to say is thank you for your everlasting love and trust. Even if we fight, we’ll always make up, because your love is the glue that keeps us stuck.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Xynea Darrell

Dear Dad,

You always believed in me when I didn’t. I thank you for that. You cared for me and loved me even when I didn’t pass a test and believed I could do better.

You’re the best and only father I ever had.

You might be far but my love for you is very strong. I love you Daddy.

Matthew Dane-Milwood

Dear Dad,

You pick me up when falling. You make me laugh when I’m feeling down. You help me with my homework when I need it and you cook amazing food. You take care of me and my siblings; you’re always supporting me in what I do, like running. You cheer me on and tell me pace myself. I love you so much and you’re the best father in the whole world.

Setota

Dear Daddy,

Roses are red, violets are blue, you love me and I love you. I love you so much, what more can I say, I want to spend time with you every day.

You are the one that I adore, and I will love you today, tomorrow and for evermore.

Happy Valentine’s Day Daddy! Love you to the moon and back. I love you so much and that’s a fact. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Jaya Dillas

Roses are red, violets are blue. I love you so much, more than food. You are the best person I know, you always put on a show. Thank you for all that you have done. The person you made me will not be undone. You always brighten my day; you make all the negative energy go away from me to you. I love you.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Skyla Furbert

Dear Papa,

The amount of things you do for me. Making me food, taking me on trips, taking me to restaurants and on drives. I may not be your son but I still love you, just as much as anyone else. I know you don’t do things for credit, you do acts of kindness, and it is a part of your personality. You run the family like a king. You will always be the person you are right now.

Kennahz

Dear Valentine,

You are the best dad in the world. I appreciate all you do for me, my brother, and my mother. I love you so much; you’re the fuel to my fire. You’re the sunshine to my rainbow. You’re the Wednesday to my week. I love you to the moon and back. I love you so much. Your daughter.

Sanaa Ball

Dear Ethan,

This is my message to you.

You have always been there for me and I wanted to thank you. You always take care of me on holidays and you are like a big brother to me.

You take me to places and I have a lot of fun. Happy Valentine’s Day!

My Mom,

You are the bright light that shines through my journey. You have looked over me my whole life and I thank you. You’re my angel. You are beautiful inside and out. I love you to the moon and back. When I’m upside down, you pick me up and turn me right side up. Thank you mom for everything and being in my life. I don’t know what I would do without you. I love you. Happy Valentine’s Day.

Nazari

To Dear Mom,

Happy Valentine’s Day.

You are as sweet as peaches and as beautiful as roses. You always brighten my day. I love you.

Dear Dad,

You are a kind and helpful dad. I don’t know what I would do without you. You are always there for me. I love you and I am very thankful for you.

Happy Valentine’s Day

The sun goes down and you’re still on my mind.

I think about you all the time.

I know loving you isn’t a crime. I know I jump, scream and whine, but you tell me you love all the time.

I didn’t want this poem to rhyme but I guess it is now.

Happy Valentine’s Day

The Man of Peace

Dear Godpa,

You are an angel sent from heaven. Thank you, Godpa, for being in my life and being such an amazing godfather. I love you to the moon and back. I love how you are caring and I hope to be just like you when I grow up. You have a conscience to guide you through your journeys and I absolutely love how you explain when I’m lost in thoughts.

I can’t thank you enough; I don’t even think that’s possible.

You are a great role model and I follow right behind you.

Godpa, I hope your journeys take you to the best of places. Godpa, I absolutely adore you. Happy Valentine’s Day. Love Amira

Nana,

I love you for who you are.

Your eyes shine like stars. You call me your sunshine. But one thing you don’t know, you are my sunshine, too. You’ve been my nana since birth. There is one thing I do know. You made your son and then you said, “I need a granddaughter” to have someone to say, “I love you for ever.”

So, now, you have me and I love you for ever.

I love you to the moon and back, from Somerset to St George’s and this is why you are my valentines.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
