Ill passenger diverts flight to Bermuda

A Caribbean Airlines flight from New York to Trinidad and Tobago diverted to Bermuda tonight after a female passenger fell ill.
The aeroplane landed at LF Wade International Airport at around 7.15pm, where emergency medical services assisted the conscious 47-year-old off the flight and took her via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The flight subsequently departed at 9.30pm to continue its journey to Piarco International Airport in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
