An 82-year-old man working in Gorham’s hardware store in Pembroke died after collapsing, police reported.

Emergency services responded at about 5.20pm on Wednesday and the man was taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Inquiries continue, according to a police spokesman.
