DeSilva hits four past St.David’s

Lock ‘N Key 2Vasco 5Vasco celebrated their first league title with a win over Lock ‘N’ Key to remain unbeaten for the league campaign.Vasco, who were knocked out of the Bistro Cup by their weekend opponents, got four goals from Milton Ferreira and a lone strike from Rich Holden. Torie Russell and Reggie Lowe netted for Key.BAA 2Valley FC 1Ten men BAA held their nerve to beat Valley.Anthony Webb got Valley off to the perfect start in the 13th minute but a second-half strike by BAA skipper Adam Shaw on 55 minutes levelled the scores.Wayne Clapham supplied the winning goal for BAA, chipping the Valley ‘keeper from 25 yards on 80 minutes. Peter Coleman was then sent off for dissent but BAA held on with ten men.Tuff Dogs 6Robin Hood 2Lamaul Crofton scored a hat-trick as Dogs put a dent in Robin Hood’s push for second place in the league.Hood were stunned by two early strikes and never fully recovered as Tuff Dogs’ pace and ball movement caused them trouble.Being forced to chase the game so early left gaps in Hood’s defence which were exploited by a prolific Dogs’ attack which also missed several open chances.Yuseff Pitt scored a brace while Marcel Dill also got his name on the scoresheet.Hood’s goals came from two individual pieces of brilliance by Johnny Neascu, but they were not enough as Tuff Dogs ran out comfortable winners on the day.West End United 8St. David’s 3Junior DeSilva scored four times to lead West End.West End also got goals from Eugene Simmons, Martel Laws, Markez Law and one from Lloyd Robinson. Desmond Crockwell got a brace for the East Enders and Dwayne Trevell grabbed one in a losing cause.MR Onions 3Lobster Pot 0Rich Phinn, Jimmy Caplice and John Tully as scored as MR Onions ended their season with a win over Pot.North Village 2Fire FC 1Nakia Smith scored both of Village’s goals against Fire FC, whose goalscorer couldn’t be confirmed.
