The accident occurred on a pedestrian crossing on Middle Road, outside Heron Bay School.

The Yamaha motorcycle was being ridden by a 21-year-old Warwick man who has been interviewed by Police.

But Police are still appealing for help from motorists who may have seen the accident at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

The Giorgios T was on her way from Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Port Said in Egypt, when the crew member was taken ill early on Thursday.

The ship diverted to Bermuda and the man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. He is expected to undergo surgery.

Because a radio operator is a compulsory position on any ship another will be flown out.

In fact the female replacement was due to land in Bermuda, from Greece, last night.

POLICE PROBE BUS STATION ROBBERY CRM Police probe bus stations robbery Detectives are investigating a Southampton teenager's claims that he was attacked and robbed by three men at Hamilton Bus Station.

The 17-year-old told Police that he was standing at the terminal at 8 p.m. on Thursday when the incident occurred.

He said he was held by one man while the other two searched his pockets. He managed to break free but he was caught on Woodlands Road where he was struck in the face and hit with a crash helmet.

The men escaped with cigarettes, lighter and a small amount of cash.
