KeyTech shares gain the most

Shares worth more than $230,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index last week. The Index finished the week at 1,237.03, up 27.27 (2.2 per cent).

The biggest gainer was KeyTech, with its shares rising 50 cents (16.7 per cent) to close at $3.50 after 25,100 traded.

Also ending higher was BF&M, up 28 cents (1.7 per cent) at $16.99 after 3,000 shares changed hands, and fellow insurance company Argus Group rose four cents (1.1 per cent) to $3.60 after 15,061 shares were traded.

Butterfield Bank shares improved by four cents (2.3 per cent) to close at $1.80 after 20,500 changed hands.

Meanwhile, shares of HSBC Holdings dropped five cents in value (0.71 per cent) to $6.95 after 1,953 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index stood at 1,602.01 at the end of the week.
