Art, music and floral decorations — enjoy a great night out!
The popular National Trust Christmas Walkabout is set to take over the Old Town tonight.
With all the planned events, it looks set to be a great night for all, said BNT events project manager Samantha Stephens.
"On Water Street at Caffe Latte is where St. George's Prep will be performing Christmas carols and saxophonist Wendell (Shine) Hayward will entertain you with his musical talents," she said.
"Stop in at Tucker House and admire the floral decorations by Mingo Cook, Rosalie Davis, Nancy Murphie and friends. Derek Tully and Mike Jones will be there to entertain you.
"King's Square will be alive with entertainment including the WindReach Slammers Wheelchair Basketball Team, Bermuda School of Music's Suzuki String Group, the Menuhin Foundation and the Salvation Army Band."
Just off the Square, Buckingham will have classical guitarist Louise Southwood playing and strollers can also enter the apartment to see the works of Masterworks Foundation artist-in-residence Lynda Shalagan.
St. Peter's Church will feature the Christ Church Bell Choir, the Saltus Grammar School Choir, opera singing instructor Marcelle Clamens and her students, the Victor Scott Primary Recorder Club and Stewart Hall and Val Wallace will be also singing.
Meanwhile , the Methodist Church will feature The Mount Saint Agnes Ensemble.
BNT has added a few new elements to the event this year.
"New this year the children's craft and refreshment area with Santa Claus at the Methodist Church Hall," Ms Stephens said.
There will also be a refreshment area in the Ordnance Island Terminal.
Ms Stephens encouraged visitors to stop in the many historical sites for some refreshments while wondering and enjoying the entertainment.
"The World Heritage Centre, the Old Rectory, Stella Maris Church, Bridge House Apartment, Buckingham apartment, Reeve Court and Samaritan's Cottages will all be open and well worth seeing," she said.
"The Old Town is lit with candles and Christmas lights and it really becomes a Christmas wonderland. Come and join us and get in the festive spirit."
The evening begins at 6.30 p.m. and ends at 8.30 p.m. For info contact Samantha Stephens on 504-3242.
